commercial floatplane pilot with
thousands of hours flying in
southwestern British Columbia I
must express my complete
satisfaction with
Vancouver+. I would
recommend this product to anyone
who enjoys VFR flying in Microsoft
Flight Simulator. The level
of detail and sense of immersion
is second only to the real flying
I do in this part of the

Pilot custom vessel working from the Pilot dock;
22, 30 and 40 foot vessels plying the harbour and
nearby Straight of Juan de Fuca. Effects
included for lights, water, smoke effects.

CYVR
Building Fix for FSX
cyvr_bfix.zip
FSX
|
Microsoft has done a fantastic job
in FSX of improving CYVR in both accuracy and
detail. Unfortunately it looks like an airphoto
showing a large black area at the northwest corner
of the terminal area was misinterpreted as a
building. In reality this was an area of pre-load
fill covered with a black tarp. It is now removed.
This file excludes that non-existant building. |

gmax
objects for designers
FS9
ve4_r12.zip
object libraries
for designers using Rwy12
FS9
|
Simple
gmax objects which may serve as starting points
for other designers. You
will need to have the gmax FS2004 gamepack
installed to modify these, and have a basic
knowledge of gmax. Placement of the
objects requires knowledge of XML.Objects:
boats, boat cradle, fences, intercity bus, park
benches, information kiosk, marine lights, a
variety of light poles, school bus, security
booth with transparent windows, a portable
building with deck and coke machine, a tree
planter and a simple zodiac water craft. Click here or on the
image for a full description. These
objects were created for vicenh04 above.
Note: the extended bitmap textures are supplied
for use in FS2004; you will need to make
standard bitmap copies for viewing in
gmax. Also available, thanks to Gary
Mills: these objects in two object libraries for
Rwy12 users.

Vancouver Object
Corrections for Ultimate Terrain
van_object_corr_ut.zip
Correction of
locations for Vancouver Canada default objects
for Ultimate Terrain users
FS9
|
The
default shorelines that come with Microsoft
Flight Simulator 2004 are inaccurately
placed. Consequently roads and other
features are misplaced. Ultimate Terrain
from Flight1 Software corrects this, however the
Microsoft default objects are then
misplaced. This software corrects the
Lions Gate Bridge, Canada Place, Harbour Centre,
Burrard Bridge, Science World and BC Place
Stadium. Further it excludes a number of
generic MS buildings that now appear placed in
False Creek. For developers, the XML code
is included. Click here or on the image for larger
image. This is vocu.zip at
Flightsim. Do
not install if you have purchased Vancouver+.

Bruce Ellison included. All airports have
